On Thursday 27th of June 2024, GBC Italia is organizing the Masterclass "L’obiettivo Net Zero, tra criteri ESG e sostenibilità ambientale" as the Council annual meeting related to green buildings. The Masterclass aims to provide experts with knowledge, instruments, and solutions to effectively reach climate neutrality goals in the real estate sector.
On June 10th 2024, the SUR Lab held at Bocconi the third masterclass entitled “Public-private partnership models for urban regeneration”. The third class focused on cooperative models between public and private actors in sustainable urban regeneration projects. The Masterclass series is part of MUSA project - Spoke 1.
On June 3rd 2024, the SUR Lab held at Bocconi the second Masterclass entitled “Creating value through urban planning instruments and policies”. This second class focused on the role of urban planning instruments in generating economic, social and environmental value and how the benefits can be fairly shared among the stakeholders involved. The Masterclass series is part of MUSA project - Spoke 1.
On Wednesday 5th of June 2024, Confindustria Assoimmobiliare will host the event “Real estate ESG Summit” to present the results from their latest research. The event will evaluate the role of the Italian real estate sector in generating value for local communities and proposes a set of indicators to evaluate the ESG performance of the sector.
Professor Edoardo Croci, SUR Lab Director, discussed the importance of sustainability in urban regeneration projects, presenting the latest SUR Lab initiatives and the new Masterclass series organized within MUSA project.
Professor Edoardo Croci, Director of SUR Lab Bocconi, has been interviewed by Bocconi Knowledge to discuss the importance of innovating business models for developing and managing urban parks and promote the last SUR Lab position paper "Business models for the implementation and management of urban parks".
On May 27th 2024, Bocconi University, with GBC Italy's support, launched the Masterclass series “Urban Regeneration models' innovation and impact assessment”. The first masterclass entitled “ESG approaches and models for urban regeneration impact assessment” focused on models and frameworks employed to evaluate urban regeneration processes and impacts following an ESG approach. The Masterclass series is part of MUSA project - Spoke 1.
The SUR Lab, within MUSA - Spoke 1, is launching a Masterclass series on Urban Regeneration models' innovation and impact assessment. The series includes five masterclasses. Classes take place over five Mondays starting from May 27th, 2024. Throughout the masterclasses, students will be provided with tools for understanding and governing urban regeneration processes, considering innovative business models, value generation mechanisms, and the role of public and private stakeholders. On Tuesday 21st of May 2024, the University of Pavia will host the seminar "Città sostenibili SDG 11: a che punto siamo?" as part of the course "Impresa, sviluppo e comunità" coordinated by Collegio Santa Caterina da Siena. The seminar aims to discuss the role of businesses in shaping economic and social development and promoting sustainability.
In data 13 maggio 2024 il SUR Lab ha organizzato il workshop dal titolo “Modelli di cooperazione pubblico-privato per la realizzazione e gestione sostenibile dei parchi urbani”. Durante l’evento, il team di ricerca del SUR Lab ha presentato i risultati della ricerca annuale, volta a definire e standardizzare modelli di business replicabili per la realizzazione e gestione dei parchi urbani sulla base dell’analisi di un set di casi studio internazionali. All’evento hanno partecipato i rappresentanti del settore pubblico e provato, centri di ricerca e organizzazioni nonprofit per discutere sull’importanza della cooperazione tra attori pubblici e privati nell’implementazione e gestione delle aree verdi e dei parchi urbani.
