On November 7th, during the 12th World Urban Forum in Cairo, SUR Lab, in collaboration with UN-Habitat, will organize the workshop "The Social Value of Urban Regeneration." The SUR ATLAS will be formally launched during the event.
Bocconi University hosted a workshop titled "Public-Private Governance for Social Value Creation" on October 11 as part of CSR 2024, gathering experts to discuss collaborative strategies for enhancing social impact. Professor Croci explained the concept of "social value" within urban regeneration processes.
AdaptAction is an initiative created by Bocconi University to reflect on climate change challenges. It draws from innovative research on four thematic areas: urban regeneration, climate mitigation and adaptation, urban policy synergies, and agriculture. AdaptAction is an interactive space aimed not only at raising awareness about the challenges of climate change but also at providing useful information and advice for taking personal action.
Professor Edoardo Croci, SUR Lab Director, discussed the recent Memorandum of Understanding signed between Bocconi University and UN-Habitat to collaborate on important initiatives related to the development of policies, methodologies and business models for sustainable urban regeneration practices.
