Bocconi University launches the SUR Lab to promote research and education on sustainable urban regeneration at the global level. Powered by four Partners, the SUR Lab is focused on defining challenges and impacts of urban regeneration, with the aim to identify key elements to reshape cities in the post-pandemic era.
Bocconi University’s Sustainable Urban Regeneration Lab (SUR Lab) is a new collaboration powered by Hines, Intesa Sanpaolo, Milanosesto S.p.a. and Prelios, leading players in the real estate sector involved in MilanoSesto, the biggest urban regeneration project in Italy and among the largest ones in Europe.
Bocconi University, through its Sustainable Urban Regeneration Lab, is official partner of the New European Bauhaus, an interdisciplinary initiative that connects designers, artists, researchers and citizens with the aim to support, facilitate and accelerate the green transformation of European cities.
Professor Edoardo Croci, SUR Lab Director and member of the Management Committee at GREEN in Bocconi University, has been elected chairperson of the Urban Europe Research Alliance (UERA), a European network that brings together 58 European research organizations involved in urban studies and innovation.
