Experts discussed indicators, methodologies, and standards to make regeneration outcomes measurable and comparable, presenting real-world applications.

The third Masterclass of the Bocconi series “Regenerating the City: strategies and tools to manage transformations and create value” explored how urban regeneration can drive climate neutrality and resilience. Experts from academia, institutions, and industry discussed practical solutions and policy tools to tackle the challenges of decarbonisation and climate risk management, presenting inspiring case studies of cities leading the way toward sustainable transformation.

On October 2, 2025, Bocconi University hosted the second Masterclass of the series “Regenerating the City: strategies and tools to manage transformations and create value”, dedicated to financial instruments for sustainable urban regeneration. Experts from academia, finance, and real estate shared perspectives on funding models, capital-raising strategies, and innovative case studies. 

Bocconi University’s SUR Lab researchers are present today at the ADAPTAction stand as part of Meet Me Tonight 2025, where they are presenting research and tools on climate adaptation, resilience, and sustainable urban transformation.
